CLUB 50 GOES TO CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN

For those of you with an unlimited love of skiing, but who aren’t sure if you’re ready for airplane travel, Club 50 will travel to Thompsonville, Michigan to ski at Crystal Mountain. Crystal Mountain has a 374- foot vertical drop and 58 runs. We will be staying 3 nights and skiing 2-3 days.
As the resort is about 305 miles northeast of Chicago, Club 50 members will be responsible for their own transportation, but we will establish a sign-up system for those who want to carpool. For those who are into alternative winter sports, Crystal Mountain offers 25 kilometers of cross-country trails, with 4 kilometers lit up for night skiing. The Michigan Legacy Art Park has a 1.6 mile snowshoe trail. Cross-country and snowshoeing gear can be rented at Crystal Mountain.

If you are purchasing an Indy Pass for any trips, your pass is good for 2 days at Crystal Mountain, plus 25% off any additional days (a savings of $70 off the package price). The Indy Pass is also good for 2 days at Caberfae Peaks, about a half-hour away from Crystal Mountain.
